Breaking Ground on Our Next Townhome! With shovels in hand and hearts full of hope, Mitchell Regional Habitat for Humanity has officially broken ground on our next townhome project! This milestone marks another step toward our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
The new townhomes, located on East 1st Avenue in Mitchell, will provide safe, affordable housing for local families — built through faith, community partnership, and countless volunteer hours. We’re grateful to our partners, sponsors, and volunteers who make each build possible. Together, we’re not just building houses — we’re building stability, strength, and self-reliance. Two Families SelectedMitchell Regional Habitat for Humanity has officially selected the two partner families for our upcoming townhome project. We are excited to walk alongside them as they build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
You can be part of this journey—through volunteering, donating, or sharing our mission—as we work together to build homes, community, and hope. 💙 |
Built with Community SupportThis home is already underway thanks to generous local partners. We want to give special thanks to:
Pro Contracting for placing the foundation and donating labor for the sill plate, floor trusses, and subfloor installation. Krohmer Plumbing for offering exceptionally competitive pricing and working with Habitat to make the plumbing scope financially workable for this project. Mitchell Concrete for coordinating directly with Habitat on concrete materials to help reduce overall build costs. Builder’s Source for working with us to keep material pricing affordable. And the City of Mitchell for ongoing support throughout the process. We’re grateful for the hands and hearts behind this build. |
