9th Home Nail-Pounding
July 8, we celebrated our ninth house and the Wells family, who soon will call it home, with a nail-pounding ceremony!
Executive Director Wendy Royston welcomed the crowd of family members, board members and community supporters. Board President Patrick Soukup and Secretary Eric VanMeter introduced the family and offered words of encouragement as they continue to earn their Sweat Equity hours in building their home.
Vice President Kyle Hohn presented Sonja Wells with a toolbelt on behalf of the Construction Committee. Board Member Skyler Mickelson invited those in attendance to return to the site frequently to work alongside Sonja and family as they continue the construction process. Board Member Tom Day was introduced as this year's Habitat 500 rider and shared about the importance of raising funds for the organization.
Fr. Yamato Icochea offered a beautiful blessing over the grounds, and over the Wells family and all who are helping to build their house.

Warren Home Dedication Held Nov. 11, 2021
Our 8th home dedication was well attended and a wonderful time of celebration for Don and Tricia Warren!
Executive Director Anessa Klumb welcomed the crowd of family members, board members, and community supporters.
Board Vice-President Kyle Hohn read Scriptures and Father Cesar Valencia performed the blessing and dedication of the home.
Board Member Colleen Hunt presented Don and Tricia with a Bible from Mitchell Regional Habitat for Humanity and the keys to their new house.
Board Members Kourtney Denne and Eric Van Meter expressed appreciation for all the donors and volunteers on this home build.
Board President Patrick Soukup wrapped up the dedication by thanking everyone who attended and introducing our next Habitat homeowner, Sonja Wells!
