Photo Album'Living Quarters' efforts raised close to $6,000
in recent fund drive
Mitchell Regional Habitat for Humanity completed the second “A Brush With Kindness” project of the summer on July 22, 2011. The home was scraped and painted by approximately 20 volunteers from Mitchell Schools staff and students, Wells Fargo Bank, Patzer Woodworking, and members of the community and Habitat Board. This project was made available from grants from South Dakota Habitat for Humanity and Mueller Lumber.

The inaugural “A Brush With Kindness” project was held on September 11, 2010. This was made possible by grants from the Mitchell Area Charitable Foundation, South Dakota Habitat for Humanity, and donations to the chapter. Volunteers for this day were from Farm Credit Services of America, Dakota Wesleyan University students, Trinity Lutheran Church, and board members of Mitchell Regional Habitat for Humanity.
