Family Nurture/Support Committee
Responsible for providing Habitat homeowners and prospective homeowners with a mutual support system, educational opportunities, and a forum for discussions pertaining to home ownership and maintenance.

Family Selection Committee
Responsible for screening applications and interviewing and recommending applicants to the Board of Directors for approval as prospective homeowners.

Executive Committee
Acts on behalf of the board when it is not in session; oversees financial, human resources, and strategic planning functions.

Nominating Committee
Recruits and trains new board members.

Construction Committee
Responsible for planning and implementing the construction projects. This includes obtaining the house plan, soliciting professional help and donations of building materials, coordinating volunteers and supervising construction.

Site Selection Committee
Responsible for locating lots to use for building.

Fundraising & Public Relations Committee
Responsible for raising money and educating the public regarding our mission. Oversees the annual "A Taste of Mitchell" fundraising event.

Church & Volunteer Relations Committee
Responsible for building relationships with churches and recruiting and organizing Habitat volunteers.
